What are a few daily habits you are trying to cultivate that support weight loss & a healthier lifestyle overall?

Here are a few of mine:
•only drinking water. I don’t even drink diet soda, mostly because I don’t believe artificial sweeteners are as safe as they are marketed as
•aiming to meet at least 10k steps a day. I work at an office so this is kinda tricky, but I have a Fitbit that reminds me to get up every hour to get 250 steps in 9 hours out of the day, and I go on 2 15 min walks throughout the day, usually once in the morning before work & in the evening after dinner
• eat meals that focus heavily on protein and healthy fats so I stay full longer. I don’t completely restrict carbs but I avoid them, especially highly refined & starchy carbs like potatoes or bread or rice
•be kind to myself. Staying consistent is more important than being perfect. If I eat a cupcake or skip a workout or walk that doesn’t mean I have to completely scrap my weight loss fitness & diet plan. Keep going

:)

I’d love to hear your goals & habits

I’m going to decrease the soda intake I always get a Diet Coke everyday so getting medium instead of large and then I’m adding 80-100 ounces of water a day. Making sure to reach my daily protein goal and then 6000-10,000 steps is my goal to start

What always does the trick for me, is to have fresh green salad with a splash of balsamic vinegar with every main meal. It works by absorbing a bit of the fat from the main food. So, I end up with more weight loss every month than I would without it, at least 1 extra pound off.
