How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Weighing in for Round 2 of my Transformer today - waited until today hoping it will carry over to the end of this DietBet so I don’t have to take photos again. LOL! I have to lose 26.1 lbs by June 30. I weighed in this morning at 27.0 lbs lost since January 1. Aside from when I was in the hospital August to October 2021 I am now at my lowest weight in 7 years after having completed my very first Transformer in April 2017. I went from my highest weight of 270 to 227.8 lbs. I started out this January at 261 and I’m 234 today. My goal is to be 225 or less on July 1. That would be my lowest weight in probably 30 years. (I know I was 240 when I got pregnant with my oldest son in 1997. I did my first DietBet when he started college!) I turned 57 a week ago and have multiple health issues from almost dying due to complications from C0V!D. I was the fortunate one. My husband did not survive. I will never be 100% but I will work to be the healthiest I can possibly be. I want to see my sons grow up, get married, and start families of their own. I want to spoil my grandkids one day. I want to do all the things James and I talked about doing when he finally retired. I still have a lot of living to do for the both of us.
