How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • The scale was NOT inspiring today! I weigh daily, and despite my 16:8 iF, despite watching portion sizes, choosing wholesome plant-based food, and getting daily exercise, I have gained 6 lb since the last weigh-in! Due to genetics and eating disorders, I am a life-long experienced dieter and I know weight fluctuations happen, but it is so discouraging to work that hard and not see downward movement on the scale!
😫 Historically, a big quick gain like this happens before a big drop, and I'm hoping that is the case! On a brighter note, I took my doggos for the first hike of the season this weekend. I had to drive about 60 mins to a lower elevation but the temps were close to 60° and there was green-ness everywhere.

Thank you all for your inspiring positive comments!

Happens to me too. So discouraging. I'm up 3 lbs from last week! Keep at it. I notice when I work out harder sometimes the scale goes up because I'm retaining water.
