How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • I am having such a hard time eating chocolate at the end of the day. I won't be hungry, just craving chocolate. Surely, it's a comfort thing due to my horrible chronic pain being the worst at night, but it's overpowering me. If I toss it, then I obsess over it and eat stuff to replace that food. Ugh To recap, I have lost then gained then lost the same ten pounds since October. I have 2 pounds left to win this bet by the 28th, and I am so afraid of self-sabotage. I can't disappoint myself one more time!

Hi Callie! I know this feeling well. My 'trick' is to make sweet potato chocolate pudding. It doesn't have the texture of regular chocolate, but the taste is there and it satisfies my sweet tooth. I don't measure anymore, but it's essentially:
3 cups baked sweet potato
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
1-2 tsp maple syrup (as desired)
Splash plant milk (2-3 Tbsp)
Blend in a blender until smooth (a good few to several minutes). Refrigerate (you can eat it any time, but I like the texture best when it's cold). I often add fresh fruit when I serve it.

That may not be your thing, but I do recommend finding a healthy alternative that will satisfy you. Each time you choose the alternative, I know you'll feel so proud of yourself the next day. Use that feeling to motivate you to keep it up. Eventually you will break this habit! I know it can feel impossible but I know you can do it!
