How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

This one was a battle. For days I was stuck a few ounces from goal. Scale didn’t budge no matter what I did. Woke up and was still 2oz above - went for a walk and hit goal dead on. So happy to win but those last few ounces made me fight for it!

I’m going to take a break from kickstarters for a bit. I’m in a transformer and doing well there.

Remember it is a long journey and you need to keep your eye on your end goal.

I’d love some tips on getting through a plateau! I did meet my goal but have been stuck forever.

Diane in the past I do a three day cleanse if I’m not seeing results when I have been sticking to diet with calorie deficit and it isn’t working. I often do the one from Ms Skinny since I find it easy to follow. https://skinnyms.com/three-day-cleanse-detox/

Sometimes I do the three day apple fast which is just apples, coffee and water for three days (only do this one when I don’t have a busy schedule). I love apples so it isn’t too bad.

Having said that this time I had been doing really low calories for awhile and didn’t want to go any lower. I changed up my diet - I’d been having overnight oats in almond milk with chia seeds as my first meal, and fat-free plain Greek yogurt with blueberries in the evening. I eliminated both of those and stuck to veggies, low fat protein and a little fruit…nothing else other than coffee herbal tea. I also upped my cardio but didn’t do any resistance training.

I think the key is to just change things up if you are stuck at a plateau.

On another note, yesterday I had my highest calorie day all year ( nothing bad but just more foods that were calorie dense including rice). This morning the scale was down another lb …so my plateau is definitely in my rear view mirror!
