Made Brittany's veggie lo mein last night (with grilled chicken) and hubby said it was a keeper! I actually didn't eat it last night because of a late snack and then I was lifting while he ate, but I'm excited to have it for lunch today!

I appreciate all the iput, I have given up all bread,sodas and sweets and I am a vrey picky eater so alot of the vegetabels I do not eat but i do love the fruit. is anyone eating oatmeal? Dont like salmon or tuna, I am a beef eater but I have been eating more chicken, this is the last week and i an getting discouraged that i will no tme my goal, I have been walking/jogging daily, dont know hwat else to do to get these fianl pounds off, this morning dont know if i ate too much but i had 3 hard boiled eggs, 2 slices turkey bacon 1/2 avacado and the air fried sweet potaotes and steel cut oats w/aplles in it, Was this too much?

That sounds like a lot for one sitting to me. How do you do with listening to your body? Also, try preparing veggies in different ways. Sauteed is different than roasted and different than steamed. Seasonings help too! I'm a huge fan of Penzey's seasonings.

This week the challenge for our work wellness challenge is no more than 2 cups of caffeine a day! I was a life-long Mt. Dew drinker until a year ago (I'm actually 15 months without it) and I have sort of 'replaced' that with Arbonne Fizz sticks and a nightly Bubbl'r (both have caffeine). I know I need to drink more water, but when the temps are in the 20's-30's like they will be this week, I don't care for it as much. The hardest time of day is lunch/afternoon. I'm a teacher and I hit that afternoon slump. Any advice on that time of day? I do like tea and have my electric tea kettle at work so it's easy to make there. Sometimes I have tea in the morning (at school) instead of water.

My current caffeine intake schedule: wake up: 1 arbonne fizz to take pills + green smoothie for breakfast (thinking of just doing water here?)
lunch: arbonne fizz
prep/PM slump: sometimes another fizz stick
evening: bubbl'r

Hey fellow teacher! I used to have a similar caffeine schedule, but eventually it caught up to me with problems and my esophagus. Long story short I quit caffeine with the exception of an occasional afternoon iced coffee with 1 teaspoon of fiber, 1 teaspoon of collagen, and half of a protein drink added. It has made a world of difference, and I do not depend on the caffeine for my energy. My body has adjusted and yours will too! Keep up the good work.

I’ve been focusing on the treadmill and dumbbells. Drinking water with meals and to feel a little fuller.

What are recipes that you recommend that have helped you in your journey? Does it seem fulfilling to you?

  • I have not had soda since I started this diet bet. I’ve tried many different alternatives and finally found one that works- bubbl’r. Love the pomegranate açaí refresher and triple berry!

    For anyone trying to kick the soda habit try this!

Yep. I quit my lifelong Mt. Dew habit last year with the help of Arbonne fizz sticks and now Bubbl'r is my evening beverage. Only triple berry for me!

HB eggs, protein balls (PB, oats, chia, etc.), and hummus. Cheese is obviously another good one if you eat dairy and aren't as concerned about the fat.

Hi! Can we talk about some GREAT habits you will be starting over the next 4 weeks to help you loose 4%? I know Brittany preaches JERF but my mind tells me I need to log and calculate my macros to make sure I am at a loss.

Some of the healthy habits I will be stacking
💦💦Week 1- WATER! Fill my 40oz cup 3x at least! =10oz an hour for 12 hours 🎉🎉
7am-11am first 40 oz
11am-3p 2nd 40
3-7pm 40oz

I am exercising at least five days per week, eating more veggies and tracking my food, and drinking about 100 oz of water every day.

Im a teacher too and with the crazy warm winter, I started running again yesterday. Injuries over the past few years have derailed my running but I have goals to run a 10k this year. I’m not sure I have the desire to get back to running halves…or even fulls! 10k/10 miles sound like better distances these days!
