I worked so so hard last week ! Yesterday I had such a hard day from morning to night and i finally gave in and had a binge episode to calm myself down. Before that I went on the treadmill and the a shower . It didn’t help . I still feel bad about it ! But life goes on and I have reached my goal weight . I wish i wasn’t so hard on my self and would celebrate my small wins more often !!!

I try to take one FULL rest day (walking only). I personally do HIIT/Cycling for cardio 3-5 days per week, after my heavy weight training sessions. Building muscle while losing fat isn’t the best for the scale with these competitions but, there is NOTHING like feeling strong! :heart:

it’s so fun to ride the motivation high, right?! :muscle:?
I’ve been trying to do 4 hiit classes at the gym a week, plus 6 days home workouts at home, I alternate dumbbell workouts and Pilates. Dumbbell workouts are Caroline girvan videos on YouTube, and I got my hands on the classic Winsor Pilates dvds (I used to have the vhs in 2002 ?) so grateful for fb marketplace. My approach is i choose which home workout I do based on/after the hiit classes since I don’t know in advance what muscle group the focus will be. It’s my strategy to maximize workouts and account for recovery.

If you've been working out hard, you also might have lactic acid built up. Give yourself a recovery day and it'll go down.
