I know the feeling -- you just feel like something has to change. It's no longer fun to eat until you feel junky. The physical evidence of unhealthy eating reaches a breaking point. Use this as motivation. You do not have to feel lethargic and eat your feelings. Start using exercise to clear your mind of stress and to combat those feelings of frustration. One small change at a time will get you where you want to be! We'll be here to cheer you on every step of the way! You've got this! :-D

it's not uncommon to have some water weight gain if you do a strenuous strength workout, because strength workouts cause micro tears in the muscles so the body sends fluids there to flush away the acid, and there's some inflammation which same thing, can cause some water retention.

Congrats on feeling stronger and better. I'm by means no health expert but would like to say to not get frustrated after the gym and weight gain. This has happened to me too and it can be crushing on feelings of progress. Keep up the good work!!

I can relate. In Norway, the Christmas tradition is fatty foods and 7kinds of cookies, chocolate, marzipan, you name it! After every dinner or supper! The Whole nation gains weight this week. Originallly that was the point,- to surive the long, cold winters with no or very little daylight.Unfortunately, I am weight loss resistant, same as many with PCOS are. Check out my blog, If you want, I have written some of my thoughts about it.

Just stick to a healthy lifestyle with the odd treat :). Calculate your BMR, which is how many calories you need to eat to maintain your weight, it can also be calculated to help you lose weight! Here is the site I found: http://www.losebabyweight.com.au/weight-loss/body-mass-index/

I think its great! I have been sharing it like crazy since I found out about it, it seems to be working for me!
