Came back from a spring break beach vacation today and ate all the delicious food. I am turning 40 on May 17th. Feeling so motivated right now. Good luck everyone!

The last week of my last DietBet I was on our spring break trip to the Bahamas. I almost didn’t make it after eating all the delicious food, but ended up making my goal by a very slim margin!

lol that was me two weeks ago, went to FL from Ontario. Enjoyed the vacation but no workouts and didn’t eat “normal” for me lol. Back on track since though and made it!

I just realized the last week of our challenge is my kids Spring Break!!! We will be traveling & that is usually when I eat whatever I want.
What are your strategies to keep on track while not in your every day schedule???

That can definitely be tricky and frustrating. I try to find active things to do and stick to the healthiest stuff in most scenarios.

Plan ahead. If you are going to eat extravagant then do it at lunch so you can move about depending on your vacation.

I’m feeling super defeated right now… I’ve been tracking my numbers so hard this past week, and they have been perfect, but I just keep gaining weight. I’m getting so frustrated! Any advice?

Have you tried time restriction with your eating? Like only eating from 11am to 7pm. I have been doing that for a few months and dropped quite a bit of weight. It’s not a huge sacrifice and I found really made a difference. I also found lots of protein and water with almost no processed foods really helps a lot. Lastly, I do 10K steps a day. I’m a big guy and takes less than an hour to knock that out all at once. Otherwise it’s about 15min walk 3 times a day. Again, not a huge inconvenience if you really want to move the scale…

Do you drink enough water? Or eating salty food (especially those bought prepaired?
Doing strenght excercizes retains water in your body, too.
Just keep going and try to weight just onece a week or once in 10 days.
