Intermediate fasting, but it has to be high in protein

I prefer volume eating. Lots of salads, veggies (fresh or cooked) that gives volume to a meal but fewer calories, lean meat and fish and 1/4 of plate are complex carbs. It works. And I count calories, trying also to eat less salty.
Pick something sustainable.

What free app or YouTube program for strenght excercizes would you recomend that realy gives results? There are so many, I feel lost when trying to find something for me.

Look up Body Fit by Amy! She has tons of videos, and she make playlists for the month so you can just follow along day to day and get a balanced program.

I do a senior/beginner kettlebell workout with Lauren 3x a week. I really like it. It’s found on YouTube. She has several other different types of routines if you’re not into kettlebells.

Why is it so hard to eat a lot of protein😫. Finally eating right, but it’s so hard to meet my protein goal. Anyone have any tips?

A simple way is to just increase your serving of meat/protein in the meals you already eat. Also, adding things like some parmesan cheese or yogurt or cottage cheese to meals can boost the protein. I eat my eggs mixed with cottage cheese. Eggs really don't have a ton of protein if you only eat 1 or 2. Make sure your snacks include some protein. Cheese sticks, jerky, Greek yogurt, quest tortilla chips or quest cheese Crackers are great snack options and have them with some fruit for some healthy balanced carbs. I used to add collagen to my coffee for the added protein, but I've read a lot about it since and while it can be good for some people if you want skin benefits, it is NOT a complete protein and you shouldn't really use it to meet your protein goals.

As a vegetarian, I struggle with protein too. I use protein powder in my green smoothies and that helps. I have more work to do though so I love these suggestions!

I’m feeling super defeated right now… I’ve been tracking my numbers so hard this past week, and they have been perfect, but I just keep gaining weight. I’m getting so frustrated! Any advice?

Have you tried time restriction with your eating? Like only eating from 11am to 7pm. I have been doing that for a few months and dropped quite a bit of weight. It’s not a huge sacrifice and I found really made a difference. I also found lots of protein and water with almost no processed foods really helps a lot. Lastly, I do 10K steps a day. I’m a big guy and takes less than an hour to knock that out all at once. Otherwise it’s about 15min walk 3 times a day. Again, not a huge inconvenience if you really want to move the scale…

Do you drink enough water? Or eating salty food (especially those bought prepaired?
Doing strenght excercizes retains water in your body, too.
Just keep going and try to weight just onece a week or once in 10 days.

I haven’t done a bet in over 2yrs. I used to be so good at these. I was more focused. I stopped focusing on my weight in that time and I did well maintaining. But this last year I’ve gained about 12lbs. My clothes still fits but it’s tight and I hate that. So I caved and bought a scale & am back here again.

My biggest issue is my job. I work 6 days a week. I’m gone all day & by the time I get home I have like 2hrs with my kids then it’s bedtime. I’m exhausted. So far I’ve gotten on my peloton twice this past week. Idk how to find the energy. Ugh.

Same!!! But I’m much older & moving slower!!! My job is sucking the life out of me- I have to make myself make time - my sister recently reminded me by asking me “are you the star of your show?“  some of us are hardwired to not be the star of our show -to always put others first, we have responsibilities, and those that count on us…….. i’ve been so stressed lately that my primary exercise: walking, is a huge stress reliever for me, and I get so busy that I forget that and don’t do it. You got this!
