  • The 3rd challenge is the Nutrition Challenge!

    Here is the challenge if you choose to accept:

    *Eat 5 servings a day from the fruit/vegetable group, 5 days this week.

    It can be all vegetables or any combo of both. What is a serving? For the purpose of our challenge we will use the American Heart Association definition: Vegetables: 1 cup of raw leafy vegetables (about the size of a small fist), 1/2 cup of other vegetables or 1/2 cup of vegetable juice. Fruits: 1 medium fruit (the size of a baseball); 1/2 cup chopped, cooked or canned fruit; or 1/2 cup juice.

    One suggestion, but not part of the challenge: Please post at least one picture of a healthy meal you eat this week. It provides great ideas for everyone in our game! And remember to make healthy food choices in other food groups but we are not measuring those for this challenge.

    **At the end of the week I will ask you to comment under a post I will have pinned at the top of the game page. You will need to click on (comment) below that post and report in there. You will have until Saturday 10:00 PM Pacific Time to report in. I will then put all the players who completed this weeks challenge into our drawing for a $30 Amazon gift card or PayPal cash!

  • Today’s lunch 😋 Spinach salad with chicken, orange, white, & purple carrots, tomato, cheese, and I had a little Ranch on the side. Also, it was about twice as big as what you see pictured. Just forgot the snap the photo before I started eating lol

  • Slipped and tore my ACL and chipped a bone back in February, while I bet on myself and entered Transformers. Fully admit I had a "poor me" few weeks. That's over, my six weeks in a brace in over, and by the time this challenge starts, my "be careful" with no brace is over. Now on to the no extras or exercising for six months. Betting again on myself by eating healthier. First day of challenge, first day up, out of bed and no makeup. Good luck everyone!

Ughhhhh, didn't weigh-in while I was laid up injured (2 months) because I knew I would be up. Now that I've been back on track I just went to try and weigh in, and I can't. Oh well, expensive learning experience. I'm still up from what i was before being injured BUT I would have made it. Good luck everyone.

Will have to make sure eating habits are on point for awhile. Slipped and fell on the ice yesterday and no better, so sitting at Emerg. And I was just starting to enjoy exercising again. :(

  • Been awhile, wanted to wait until I saw ortho. It's a very bad sprain, thankfully ACL not torn. Where the muscle attaches is chipped off but the hope is the scar tissue will heal well. I have a new best friend until Pril 7th. No family dr. so no note for an exemption?
