I am making progress! Logging my food everyday and feeling motivated to be consistent and stick with it. Plus great “pull” workout this morning. I use the Hevy app which I love, to track progress. Have a great weekend!

Jamie S.

Great job staying motivated. I'm going to check out this app and add some new workouts.

That's awesome, Stacey! Being consistent is truly the key! Way to go!

I didn’t realize this was a “member only” game. I am not a member—am I still eligible to win? I just realized as I did my first unofficial weigh in of 108.3 lbs! Wohooo!!

No games (that I know of) are members only. If you do pay the extra and become a member, then you are eligible for some additional prizes.

DietBet Laura

Hi Nicole! Great question! This is not a member game, so you are ok! Member games always have different goals than kickstarters, such as lose 4% in 8 weeks or lose 6% in 3 months. Members can submit weigh-ins during the game for accountability and as an entry for the weekly prizes. But everyone can play this game :)

I think I’m finally over the hump! After Valentine’s Day we had far too many bad food choice days. My knees were in pain even after getting back healthy habits. I was starting to believe it was arthritis and I had to stop my typical work outs. Today, after being consistent again for a full week my knees feel less sore. I knew fatty/carby/sugary foods caused inflammation in my knees but I didn’t expected to be as severe as it was!! The scale has went down a couple times this week which also released pressure on my knees so WIN-WIN. 1 lb weight loss reduces knee pressure by something like 3-6 lbs.

  • My first few pounds came off with little effort. It was more of a mental exercise than a physical exercise. The next few pounds are going to be a little more difficult though I think. My goal for this week is to stay on my feet throughout the day as much as possible. It’s those moments when I’m sitting down scrolling on my phone where I get into the most trouble with snacking. So when I get home from work, which is a job I’m already standing for the whole time, I plan to do yardwork and housework and just to be more productive overall! Hopefully by the end of the day, I will be too tired to stay up long enough to convince myself that I need to eat something else! Here’s a photo of one of my healthy meals. It’s a cheeseburger salad with thousand Island dressing! Low carb, high protein, and the dressing gives it a lot of flavor!

Hi Courtney! That kind of refocus to change a habit is huge! You saw something in your day that needed a tweak and you are making the change! That's awesome!

Stacey K.

That looks delish :yum:

I did a walk-run today for the first time in a looooong time. Maybe December. So nice to have clear sidewalks finally!

  • Midweek energy check!⚡

How’s everyone holding up? Be honest. Are you riding the motivation wave, or are you having to dig a little deeper this week?

Here’s your reminder: you don’t need to feel motivated to stay consistent. You just need to follow through on the habits you decided on when you were feeling clear-headed.

    Keep it simple:
    Protein at meals.
    Water throughout the day.
    Daily movement.
    Sleep when you can.

The magic isn’t in doing more. It’s in repeating the basics.

What’s been your biggest challenge so far? Drop it here. Let’s talk about it and support each other through it!

An occasional drink with friends… I keep it to 1x a week max 2 glasses of dry wine or champagne ..

A “biggish” dinner with beer is hard… unless I planned for it. Somehow I have stayed in my calorie goal. But it’s not easy in those cases, without planning

I’m going for about 1500 kcal. Strength training is steady, but gradual increases (love my Hevy app). I want to do more walking and running in March with the highly anticipated better weather!

Excited to be here. I’ve been doing Noom for 18 months, very slowly, and I think I’ve embraced the casual approach too much! I al excited to have a focus and short term goal. I used to do runbet years ago and it was so much fun!
