  • Welcome! I’m Jenn, your host. I'm so glad you’re here!

Each week, I run a fun (and totally optional) challenge to help keep things engaging and motivating.

This Week’s Challenge: The Water Challenge
Drink 64 oz. of water on any 3 days between now and Saturday night.

Let me know if you need to modify this challenge to better fit your needs. These are meant to feel supportive, not stressful.

    How to Enter:
On Friday, I’ll post a Challenge Check-In at the top of the game feed.
If you complete the challenge, just leave a comment on that post by Saturday at 10 PM PT to be entered into the prize drawing.

Prize: $10 cash, and the prize grows each week!

Grab the free Weekly Challenge Guide! It gives you a sneak peek at all the upcoming weekly challenges.

I use a 32 oz water bottle. I start each day chugging the whole thing so I start my day hydrated. Then I sip on one or two more refills through the day. It’s easier in the summer. It’s hotter so I’m thirstier, and also I’m a teacher so drinking during the day means bathroom breaks which are tricky.

DietBet U.

I just joined this morning but was able to drink 64 ounces of water so just Friday and Saturday left!

Congratulations!! I beat mine by 0.1 pounds. It was close!!

Dietbet U.

I surprised myself! I beat mine by .5 in the end, but I was hovering around .1 for over a week…and have really overdone the sodium this week. It was completely up in the air!

  • I’m home from a camping trip, and I spent hours and hours paddling on the lake. Rude to wake up at home with no more paddles in my future! I wish my favorite form of exercise was more accessible!

Beautiful! It's always a shock to come home after such a great trip!

Dietbet U.

True. I can’t just add a huge body of water onto my home life, to soften the transition.

  • Happy Monday! How is everyone feeling going into the final week? Did you have an awesome weekend? Are you ready to take control over this week and claim victory?

As we head into these last few days, be kind to yourself and be proud of your decision to make your health a priority.

A few tips for these final days:

    -No drastic changes
    -Keep moving
    -Drink your water
    -Get enough sleep
    -Limit salt
    -Find your joy

Whether you're crushing your goal or struggling a bit, please keep in mind that PROGRESS is the real win. Any changes you can say you've noticed since the game started - that's what you should focus on. What have you learned about yourself? What little victories have you accomplished? It's not all about the scale (yes, the game is determined by the little numbers by your feet, but they don't determine your worth, your happiness, or what you're capable of).

Dig deep and don’t give up this week! Make it your final push, but also look at how far you've come!

It’s funny how in the heat of mid summer, salt seems to be the only thing I want!

Nicole C.

Thanks Grace! I almost forgot that my whole goal with these three bets was to not gain my usual summer weight

  • I’ve been plateaued for a week, but my food and activity habits have been pretty consistent, and it really looks like I should be in a calorie deficit. (Breakthrough coming maybe??) I am prepping to leave for 5 days of camping next to Lake Tahoe, and while I am excited for all the family time and paddle boarding and hiking in my favorite spots…. I have no idea what effect this will have on my health goals. Bears are extremely active there, so rules are tight on how food is stored, so I will probably snack less. But I might also overeat because there’s zero time to listen to hunger cues: you just pick a time, prep a meal for the family, and we all have to eat it immediately or trash it, and then clean up/lock up everything instantly to avoid fines and bear risk. It’s a weird way to live, but a beautiful place, and I have needed this quiet time with the family. Hoping I can just CHILL OUT, and it will all work out. (Pic from a prior trip there)

Try not to stress! The lake looks beautiful. Hopefully some chill out time with family, an inability to graze, and lots of movement will make that scale move in the right direction. Try to just relax and enjoy each moment.

DietBet Grace

So pretty! As Abbey said, try to relax and enjoy your time there. Don't let the scale rob you of making memories with your family. Maybe this will be the reset your body needs to push past your plateau!

Early morning walk. 45 mins with a weighted vest.

Dietbet U.

I have been loving a streaming workout lately, but this week I haven’t been carving out the time for it. I keep getting to 5pm without finding a window for it, and I really don’t like to exercise in the peak heat of the day, or near bedtime once it cools off. I’m setting an intention to do it first thing in the morning tomorrow, before anything can get in the way.

  • Happy Monday!

How did Week 1 go for everyone? Holidays can definitely make it harder to stay on track, but today is a new day and the start of Week 2!

Drop a comment below to let us know one goal you have for this week!

Remember, it’s the small, consistent changes that add up to big results

I have a goal to take a walk after dinner all week. I like how I feel mentally and physically when I do it, but I couch rot instead pretty often.

abbey p.

I want to get to 3 servings of veggies per day this week. Last week I consistently got 2 per day. Also, increasing water from 2 full water bottles to 3.

I’m currently heavier than I’ve been since pregnancy 15 years ago. I went through a huge transformation between 2016-2019 and was in the best shape of my life. I don’t expect myself to go back to that level because my life looks different now but I’m very ready to get back down to a healthy weight!

I hear you. My transformation was a couple years ago but since December I have let myself go. Time to get back on track.

This is honestly the best mindset, Abbey. "Healthy" looks different at different points in our lives. I'm so glad you're here!
