I spent 50 minutes on the treadmill and have been slowly increasing my pace and duration of my workout. I have been lucky so far this week and have not had any mandatory overtime. I got grocery shopping in with good food to prepare for my breakfast and lunch that I take to work and dinner with my family. I made sure not to buy any snacks that might be tempting. My family chooses to buy them and eat them away from home to help support my efforts. While cooking dinner with husband, I was reflecting on my week. We have stopped eating out and have been cooking almost all of our meals and not out of packages and adding a lot of extra veggies to everything we make. I have tracked all of my food before I eat it and how eating this way I haven’t felt cheated (except the one day with cake at work lol) and have been able to eat what my family eats as long as I’m careful with my protion size and avoid junk food. This week has been a huge success for me and I am proud of myself for pushing myself and sticking to my goals. I just hope I am able to keep my motivation and meet my goals.
