How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Feeling a bit discouraged as it seems my losses have slowed dramatically, so here are the positives I’m trying to focus on:
-my average loss from last week to this week was 0.6lbs, which is approximately representative of the caloric deficit I’ve been aiming for
-I lost another 0.5 inches off my hips
- my body fat percentage is down 8.5% since starting the game
-the size 4 jeans I bought a few months ago are getting loose

Make it a great weekend everyone!!! What successes are you seeing that aren’t solely related to the scale?

I hope so!! I think it takes a lot of work mentally, especially after years of hating our bodies and telling ourselves we aren't good enough. I have a goal weight in mind that is right about in the middle of the ideal body weight range for my height. I have some concerns that I will be disappointed if I can't get there, but if I can't get there it will be because I have been focusing on overall health and strength - not just weight loss. If I can't get to that weight because I am strong and fit, I want to be okay with that. But it will take some work, I think, in my own head.

Something that has helped me has been looking for positives when I look in the mirror. It was not that simple but when I did a workout program that was partly about booty gains I started looking for positives as a side effect. I work to do that on purpose because it has been SO helpful for me. Hope this helps :grinning:
