I’m finally under 300 pounds because of this diet bet! I never want to see those numbers again! Almost at my goal for this diet bet! I knew the key was to do it with my husband. Because in the past I only succeeded when I did my diet bet together with him. He really helped me get over that initial hump in the beginning. And now I’m eating more fruits and veggies again. Bust mostly im more aware of my calorie intake. I used to think I’d have to quit everything bad cold turkey because that’s the way I always had to do it. But doing it with my husband I’ve been able to fit in everything I ate before but I’m just more serious about my portions. I feel more deserving of the food I eat now rather than mindlessly eating. I really hope I don’t lose this drive so that I can see my progress over a long period of time. Because usually I lose momentum after a month and then gain it back. But not this time! I’m going to join another DietBet after this one and hold myself accountable! I think a big thing is that even if I’m having a bad meal because I know it’s within my calorie allotment I feel like it’s fine to eat just not all of the time but it satisfies me and makes me not want to binge on it because I know I can still hop on the scale and see results. I should probably start incorporating some exercise soon. Anyhow, I hope everyone is doing well! Even if not don’t give up. Just accept whatever bad thing you ate and get back on track. Don’t go down the rabbit hole! I’ve been sad for months thinking I couldn’t do it but I’ve finally got started and I don’t want to stop!
