How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I started this @ 400.5 lbs. After 2 months, I weighed 402.7. At that time I started walking in the morning... every morning. But at that weight my knees finally rebelled. For over 2 weeks I could barely walk. Then, while watching YouTube videos, I came across Intermittent Fasting. I started with a 16/8 routine and have moved to 18/6. I know that not every program works for everyone, but this works for me. My final weigh-in was this morning and approved a short bit later. 359.3 lbs. Yup... I needed to be @ 360.5 and made it with 1.2 lbs. to spare (from the initial 400.5). November 17 @ 402.7, 4 months later (today March 15) @ 359.3. Total loss of 43.4 lbs. Trust me... if I can do it, anyone can. My long-term goal is to get to 185 lbs. And I haven't been under 200 since the late 1980s. My birthday is early October and my next big goal is to be under 300 at that point, something I haven't been at in over 10 years. Short-term and long-term goals and a plan that you can follow. No guilt, just be honest with yourself. Do it for yourself! We CAN do this!!!

WOOHOO!!! You and I are almost the same. I started at 404. I tried to 18/6 and did it for a while, but I was starting to make myself crazy and rebelled with food in not so healthy ways. I went back to 16/8 for my mental health. Almost two years later, I weighed in at 189 this morning. I would like to get to 184, but that may take a while. There are a lot more ups and downs that closer you get to goal. Oddly enough.
