How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • I’m feeling rather despondent that some medication I’m having to take has a side effect of water retention - I’ve literally put on 2kg overnight. I’m not likely to stop that medication before this round is over, which looks like it’s going to be impossible to reach my goal.

I’m doing the best I can to make health a habit; I can’t currently control the need to be on this particular medication for now but I can control what I’m eating. Even times like now when I’m eating out, I’m making a healthier choice than I may have otherwise - today’s lunch is a toasted vegetable wrap.

I’m sorry you are dealing with that but you have a great attitude - good for you not using the situation as an excuse

I'm sorry that you are going through this as well. Like Stephanie said you have a great attitude about it! What I would do, just to maybe help balance out the medicine, is to really try and stay away from breads or major carbs at the moment. I would suggest getting carbs from your vegetables to see if that helps counter balance the medicine. But, continue to have the great attitude that you have! That will take you places!
