How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

STEPS!!!!
1. Do you track your steps?
1a. What do you track with?
2. What is your daily goal?
3. How many days (out of 30) did you hit your goal last month (June)
4. For the days you didnt hit your goal, what stopped you?
5. What tricks do you have for getting in steps?

For me.
1. I am obsessive. I track religiously
1a. I use Samsung health on my phone and smartwatch
2. 17,000/day goal. I know I can do more, but on rest days, I try not to over do it.
3. I hit my goal 26 out of 30 days in june
4. 2 days were due to leg injury, 2 days were after a 22 mile run. Needed time to recover. I missed them all by 1000-4000 steps. So not a complete lack of steps, just reduced
5. I walk/run first thing in the morning. Shooting for 8k-10k steps before I start work. I take the dog for a few walks a day. If I drive somewhere, I park further away than I need. And I uses a Variable Heigh Desk, so I can stand/pace during long calls.

  • I use a Garmin watch for tracking daily. With garmin, if you make the goal it increases for the next day, my current daily goal is 15,980. I had to go back and look but in June I made goal 29/30 days. The day I missed, I forgot about it and fell asleep 3 steps short of goal ??????? (picture for proof) ... tricks for getting steps: its been hard since working from home. I’ve started walking to Starbucks instead of driving (2500 steps) I try to do a quick walk around lunch time, and run or walk in the evening.

1. Fitbit
2. 10,000 steps
3. Sadly only 10/30 days. :flushed: (Had no idea I was THAT bad this month. I usually have no problem meeting my goal.)
4. It’s been hot, so spending time swimming/paddle boarding. Can’t wear my fit bit. (... and maybe been lazier than I thought?)
5. Usually if I haven’t met my goal by 7 pm, I go on a walk outside with my husband or get in the treadmill and watch TV.)
