For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

I just realized I’m challenging myself big time with this one. I leave for a cruise on November 22 and return home the day before weigh in. I always enjoy my vacations and don’t restrict myself from enjoying extra treats so to beat this challenge I have to loose enough to make up for the extra weight gain for my November trip 😬

I leave for a cruise in December and I already bought the slimmer clothes that I plan on wearing on that cruise. I was on a DietBet on my last cruise and was totally able to lose weight. The goal was not to worry about counting calories per se, but NOT budging from my no bread, rice, or grains rule (since there generally aren't that many whole grain and healthy options) and getting in exercise at least 2x/day (when if it was just walking!). I was able to still lose 1 lb. So indeed, you CAN do it!

My first cruise was three years ago. At the time I was on a very strict diet and managed to loose a pound on vacation. My second cruise I loosened up a lot and allowed myself to have whatever I wanted whenever I wanted and gained seven pounds. My next cruise I plan to be on a healthy balance of the two.
