  • Today was exhausting. 12 hour shift after horrible insomnia for days. My knee was bothering me yesterday so I did yoga instead of a hardcore workout and today it’s really bothering me. It’s sore and feels tight and swollen when I bend it feels hard and if I sit on my knees it hurts I must have done something to it working out so as much anxiety as this gives me I’m taking a real rest day no walking no yoga no nothing. Had a smart ones for dinner cuddling up with a heating pad on my knee and hoping for sleep and a better knee in the morning.

I would try ice instead. I'm also always going for heat, but if it is swollen, you should use cold.
