  • Hi, everyone! I 💜  the energy so many of you are bringing to our challenge already and know we are going to have a great four weeks.

    I'm Ashley, a referee here at DietBet and your game host. Normally, I would spend the kickoff post introducing myself a bit more, but my Louisiana yard/road is covered in freezing rain, sleet and snow. It's also abnormally cold outside (for here).

     I know a lot of the U.S. is experiencing the same situation right now.

    Normally when things veer out of the ordinary, it can make us vulnerable and more likely to forsake our healthy habits...maybe I don't want to walk outside because of the snow or feel like curling up in front of the TV with a blanket. 

    Sometimes you need to pivot when the weather, work, or life starts to take away time/energy from your journey! 

     

    What are your secrets for switching things up to stay on track when everything else is a drain? 💥

something i recently started is to commit myself to at least 5 minutes of movement each hour im awake. 5 minutes is such a small length of time so it's manageable but it stops me from being sedentary all day.
