How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Trying to stay motivated. Scale hasn’t moved in 7 days. I’m IF and 1200 calories a day. Trying to make as many JERF recipes as possible. Quick throw together this morning: plain rice cake, 1/2 avocado, cheese, one egg. It was delicious and filling, drank a full glass of water with my meal.

I don’t know about calories, I follow a low glycemix index diet so I would advise you avoid the rice cakes. Any « puffed » cereal (pop corn also) has a high glycemic index. It raises the glycemy in your blood and makes your body produces too much insulin: you crave unhealthy food and stock fat.
You could replace the rice cake with a slice of whole bread or an overnight porridge (cooked and hot oat would have a high glycemic index too).
Good luck!

Thank you everyone! It was not on medical advice (just NOOM) to eat 1200 or less calories. I still have 42 lbs to lose, but I will do some research and try something different.
