How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Thanks Magster, I didn't realize they had increased all the fees by so much since my last go-round here! It's only 15% for bets that are at least $250? I've never even seen that. Anyway, that number is still more than 25% of the pot, too. And I'm fine with what I got out of it.

Most games they run do not have the volume of participation of the New Years game. They also need to up keep this app. Just to hire 1 fulltime software engineer is like $100k a year, if they actually made 400k it is going to those expenses. Most other bets they are making like 1-3k if you look at pot sizes which come out to 10k or lower. Many are saying they are making a large profit margin but I think alot goes paying their expenses. Also this is not a charity and they have a good product and deserve a profit. I know Healthywage does similiar style diet and step bets and they take out the percentage but also charge big fees whenever you get a payout, in comparison Dietbet is the more generous.
