So I’m wrapping up a 6 week long vacation back home here in the United States and temptations are real! I live in Italy now but I came to Texas to help my sister at the end of her pregnancy and to help with the newborn these last 6 weeks! Ah I’m in love with my baby niece and don’t want to go, so I joined this group to help me stay positive and on the right track as going back to no family and super far is always a hard adjustment after a nice visit back home. I figured this is my favorite type of online community (4th DietBet here!) Well here just to try and keep my self accountable in the last two days I’m in the states and trying not to let the “last time eating this…” temptation take over. I need all the extra support these days and hoping the 15 hour flight day Friday doesn’t get me too off track!! Tips and advice welcomed :))

Aww that’s great and congrats on your baby niece! As for the whole “last time eating this” my new approach is to add things in, not take things out. So enjoy a portion of the thing but don’t overindulge in the thing and continue to incorporate good healthy nutritious sides and proteins with it. Along with lots of water. As if it’s all part of your way of eating. It’s ok to indulge it’s overindulge that’s the issue.
