How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Thinking of joining CrossFit. I have only ever done kickboxing but did that for 6 years on and off. I have not been there for about a year now. I need some kind of group activity and I have a CrossFit place 10 mins away from me. Anyone ever do it or doing it have any suggestions or d you like it or don’t like it?

I did something very like CrossFit, and loved the community. Most places are great about teaching you form, and it can teach you a lot of exercises to start doing on your own, too. The few people I've heard say they didn't like CrossFit didn't seem to like the people in the group - so seems like if your crew is fun, you'll have fun!

A good supportive CrossFit gym is amazing, but every gym/box has their own vibe so I'd recommend doing some research. IMO the gyms that have youth classes or offer child care tend to be full of amazing muscle mommy's and a super supportive environment. I myself don't have kids, it's more about environment. While most gyms that brag about their games athletes or competiton teams tend to have a lame "BRAH do you even lift" vibe.
