How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I recently decided to give up alcohol, and I'm going out to a bar with friends tonight. (Who are all very supportive and won't pressure me to drink.) Any recommendations on what to order??

Votes in for what everyone else said. I stopped drinking for my weight loss journey and if I was going out, I’d order a whole bottle of San pelligrino. It makes me feel fancy and I can refill as they are getting second rounds.

I stopped drinking a while back. Mocktails are way more commonly available than before, so that's an option. I was usually the designated driver when I was younger, so I'd just tell the bartender that and that I wasn't a fan of cola, and they'd whip something up for me. Sometimes it'd be an orange juice, sometimes a mojito without the rum.

These days, I really just prefer water, so I get some sparkling water and that's it.
