How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hey everyone. I started out strong at the beginning of Feb after I conquered a January bet. I didn't reach the goal this month, but I didn't gain weight and lost 6 ounces. Alot has happened over this month and I have a new perspective on the impact stress and worrying can have on every system in the body. My daughter has been on the transplant list just got her call to receive her second gift of life last week, it went smoother than I imagined. Although she is recovering well, I still have alot of fear and anxiety along mixed with reliefe, hope, and excitement. I am mainly going to be focusing on her health from this point especially throughout her extensive recovery. But I learned about balance through this experience and the saying "you can't pour into the cups of others if you you don't pour into your own" has new meaning. I intend on going forward this month with serious intent on my health, not just to loose weight and look and feel better, but so I'm ready for whatever is next. Hope everyone is doing good with the challenge. Win or loose, it's inspiring to see so many people commited to regaining their health.

I’m with you on the quest for health (versus just weight loss). That’s the goal for me too. Congrats to your daughter’s luck with the transplant list! Hope she continues to find health as well.:purple_heart:
