How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Feeling so excited right now. My last few treadmill runs have not gone well. Even my elliptical session yesterday didn’t feel great. Don’t know if it was the luck of the Irish or what, but this race felt great from start to finish. It was my fastest 8k road race ever. Unless I can miraculously lose the last 2 nagging pounds that have been hanging on the past 2 weeks, I will not hit my goal for this challenge. It sucks, but I’ve still lost 4 lbs and I’m still going strong with my 1/2 marathon training. Good luck to everyone on this challenge!

Congrats on your PR on your 8K - that’s some amazing work! Best on your progress the next couple of days - you never know…! Still, 4lbs is awesome progress!!

Well done on both the personal best and with the 4lbs. I stalled for a few weeks in the middle of this game and know how frustrating it can be.
