  • Hi everyone!
I’m late to the game, but that’s ok! My dad passed on 12/29, and all of last week was busy with arrangements, family, and the funeral. I made a lot of progress last year, even with both parents undergoing surgeries at the beginning of the year. I held strong until summer as I spent some time with my nieces and nephews that don’t live nearby, then my dad declined mid August, and was placed on Hospice. My focus turned to him, and although I stayed somewhat active, the stress and time involved with caregiving took its toll.
I joined the group yesterday, and started today. I knew I could do it on my own, as I have before, but I love all of the content and motivation these groups provide.
I’m slowly reading through the material. I’m giving myself grace, but ready. As a goal, I had planned to increase my steps, so I pulled out and used my treadmill today, and will work on the challenge. I also pressed play on P90X3. I had started it several years ago, but cannot recall why I didn’t get very far. The 30 minutes will be good, with the addition of walking and some mobility too.
This door attachment will be my buddy for the next 90 days. Excuse the hair, as I was not at all photo ready, lol. I don’t take many sweaty selfies

I am sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences. It is definitely the right step that you are joining the group and taking care of yourself.
