I want to share my successes from yesterday. No one in my family wants to hear them, so you are my audience, cuz I gotta share!!!

Yesterday was Saturday and while we were out adn about during the day, I was encountered with 2 challenges where I usually go one way, and this time, I went a better way.

We stopped at Mc Donalds for a break, this isn't in the city McD. This was on the highway in the middle of nowhere, with no other option. I was a bit hungry, but not really. ( I started writing fluidly, and then I am making changes wondering if everyone will understand, and that isn't helping my need to share. I want to apologize if some of my story isn't clear, but I am writing here to share and to also celebrate for myself),
So i decided to stick to coffee, which I love. And my family got some food and some treats. Fries and ice cream...

My way is to not order, but then have some fries, adn by some, I honestly don't know how many. This time I said, I will have 5, and I did. I tried the different sauces that we got with the meal and then I stopped. And instead of internally judging my family for the food they were eating, I enjoyed and focused on being together.

WItht he ice cream I always get a big lick. But Ive noticed taht that behavior doens't serve me for it makes me want to eat other sweet snacks, and leaves me wanting more. THis time, I didn't even have one lick. SUPER PROUD!!!!


Later when no one was hungry, I realized I was, and I usually just grab a snack in the car while we are going from place to place, instead, this time, we stopped at a mini market, adn got 2 heads of romaine lettuce and some delicious roastbeef slices, which I love, adn baby cucumbers, and made for myself wraps with the lettuce and meat and it was a true delight.

I know that if I do what I did, I will get what I got.

I learned eating refined sugar any food , causes me to be more hungry and binge . Ice cream McDonald’s is my favorite and low calorie, but the sugar causes me to eat more . You did great with the wraps . I was never successful
With my weight loss til I joined weight watchers, it really taught me to eat balance meals .
