How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

If I miss my goal for round 1, am I eliminated from the whole game?

Nope, you just have to lose 6% by the end of month 5 in order to be eligible for the final month.

I forget where I was reading it. There’s actually a maximum amount of weight you can lose between rounds and not a minimum. The only round they will consider you not a “winner“ is the fifth and sixth round I believe. Which is helpful too because if people are losing too fast then they see that as suspicious. It’s very common not to lose your goal weight in the first round. I see the first round as my figuring it out round.
