How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Ok, so I've been away from DietBet for a long time. I sort of got to the point where it didn't seem to matter what I did, I still gained weight and I injure easily because of my joints having extra space and previous injuries and what not and I sort of gave up a bit. That, and being super busy as a teacher and everything else in life. But, I realized that I haven't felt like me in a REALLY long time and it just sort of hit me that is HAS been a really long time and not just a small rut and part of feeling like me again is being able to physically do the things I want to do, so here I am, hoping I can start over and maybe make it this time.

Hello, fellow teacher! I am also prone to injury; it makes things extra challenging. I'm glad you've chosen to take care of yourself.

Hey! What do you teach? And, yes, it does make things challenging. I tend to go hard when I start (once I actually get myself to start) so it's difficult to keep back and go at a safe pace, etc.
