How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hello! I just joined today and think it'll probably take a miracle to win the first round in less than a month, but I do think winning starting in the second month is possible; I didn't want to wait until an August transformer to start getting back in shape.

Since winning my last Diet Bet in 2024, I've changed my workout routine considerably and no longer burn anywhere near as many calories. I'm hoping this bet will force me to look at my eating and exercise habits closely to figure out what my new portion sizes should be. Until I can eyeball it, I'll be counting calories.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi, welcome!

Lisa P.

You can do it! Counting calories really helps. I do so much better when I log all my food and track calories in and burned with my Fitbit.
