Hmmm, from your comments, it sounds like you aren't so much depressed over Robin's suicide, as you are upset over your loss of a good friend many years ago. And I hope you realize that your friend may not have been happy, but he wouldn't have wanted his unhappiness to hurt you. And yes, eating too much of the wrong foods, or even the right foods, hurts you. I've been a bit down about my workload right now (too much work, too tight of deadlines) and I had some comfort food--chocolate this evening. I need to be optimistic, so I'll join you for a workout. I'm heading for the elliptical as soon as I click post. Hope you got that walk in. Katrina
