Actually, for me, eating the right foods is not really the problem. The problem is binge eating. I have had a couple of overnight sessions lol Of course, this has been the case forever. However, when I want to buckle down quickly, I do eat even lower or no carbs for a couple of days, but not just eggs. It's basically the same concept but with other proteins as well. I say, whatever works!

I'm at a loss...no matter what I do, I am not losing...I've tried high protein low carb, I've tried just protein shakes and bars, I've tried smart ones frozen meals, 3 times a day....I don't know what else to do...I've been dieting my whole life...and normally these work...idk

It’s the binge eating that sabotages us. Even if we have 2-3 good days of eating spot on we ruin those days with 1 day of binge eating. It is about consistency. I’m a fellow binge eater and self saboteur.
I’ve read some good books lately to help me focus on my future self rather than living just for today (which always means eating or drinking the crap I know I need to abstain from.)

but afraid of it going back up 😭Im invited to a celebration BUFFET dinner tonight and im worried I’ll put on some weight literally having eating anxiety but I think 2 weeks will be enough to bring it back down!!

Not loosing any weight despite counting calories (1200) and walking (3k-5k) steps what am I doing wrong?

Last year when I joined DietBet I was doing the exact same thing as this year and saw drastic changes but this year I’m not seeing anything.

Feeling so demotivated and depressed I can’t begin to express how low I’m feeling this year.

I add more water, eat extra calories a couple of times a week, and make sure I'm getting a lot of protein. I'm down 25 lbs since March 20th. I also try not to eat anything after 8 pm if I can help it. Those are things that work for me but I know everyone is different. I can only do 3k to 5k steps right now due to feet injuries so I focus on food choices and good supplements (greens, collagen, electrolytes, and a multivitamin). The best advice is don't give up. You can't control your body's weight loss rate but if you keep doing all the right things and stay consistent, you will lose even if it's slower than you hoped. Plus bodies can lose inches without pounds while everything is adjusting. Stay strong, friend! You've totally got this! :heart:

If you’re tracking your foods also look at sodium intake. As other commenters have said, maybe up your protein as well.

Yesterday was payday, and my partner is desperate for takeout. So they've had a giant smash burger, loaded fries, onion rings, habanero cheese bites... and I've made myself some brown rice with roasted cauliflower and a fat free Greek yogurt and mint sauce. Their food smelled amazing though, and I'm proud of myself for not even stealing a single fry hahaha
