My biggest why is because I want to be able to do more service related activities. I have some health issues that are probably never going away (per docs), but I’m finally at a point where I can try to live somewhat normally again, instead of just aimlessly surviving the pain day after day. One thing a person told me last year that really stuck with me is, “if you don’t spend it (money and time) on your health, you’ll spend it on your illness”. I’m fed up of being sick and want to do what I can on my good days to improve the likelihood that I have more of them :)

I have had a slew of medical issues this past year from multiple bouts with COVID, pneumonia, and demobilization from blown discs in my lumbar. Weight is always a factor in my overall health and I need to get it under control. My wife and I have an active family with 6 kids at home ranging from 3-17 years old and I hate that I cannot be more active or energetic with them.

I’m so confused. This app tells me it’s time to weigh in so I weighed in yesterday. Then I get an email telling me that I must do one today. Why all these different weigh ins?

Me too. It told me to weigh in Dec 26 to 27. Then additional weigh-ins because 26 weigh in didn't count. And when I did again today I needed to just resubmit my scale pic because the weight wasn't visible. It told me to resubmit. So I did BUT it appears not to count toward accountability but to dietbet!!!

This is really strange, I received a notification that I had been removed from this game, The game was gone from my games list in the app, but when I followed the link from the email reminder to weigh in, it brought me to the game in the browser, which had a banner that said I had been removed because of losing too much weight—when I had not even weighed in yet, then to the weigh in guide. I weighed in through that, and now the game is back in my list in the app 😬 I'm so confused.

Good news is I'm down 16.2 pounds!

Well, I'm on the spectrum and recovering from a long illness where my hormones were very dysregulated. Eating clean keto just works for me. I'm very sensitive to a lot of food additives, and I feel tons better when I eat clean. Plus, being low-carb helps with my hormones leveling out and kicks out my inflammation. The great thing about being fat adapted with my diet is that I'm almost never hungry, which makes calorie restriction and intermittent fasting a breeze. But I have to push myself to walk and track all my food or I slide real quick.

My plan is to lose a bunch of weight. I started working hard at this when school started this year. Now I have my sight on a cruise next Christmas and I want to feel like a kid again with more energy to go go go.
