  • Trying out a new meal prep today, made a crunchy cabbage carrot and apple salad with homemade apple cider vinegar dressing for lunch. Missed the weigh in this week , I weighed in when I started . I’m new to this so hopefully I didn’t just disqualify myself . lol

If you weigh in the 1st or 2nd day of each month , and meet your weight goal for the month they set for you , then u get a portion of the pot split for that month with others who also meet that goal . The weekly Way in that you’re talking about are just optional.. the fifth month is the one you cannot skip weigh in on, that’s mandatory to win in addition to the last one.

  • This year for Christmas we set up a home gym with a mirror, gym floor, weight bench, and dumbbells in the garage. I decided to give this a shot because the regular gym wasn’t working for me anymore. Best decision ever! I feel so much more comfortable here and now I can hang out with my son while I work out. I wish I invested in home gym equipment earlier. I like doing simple dumbbell style workouts, yoga, and HIIT on the Sweat app.

This weight-loss and fitness journey is now 2 years in the making. Jan 1st of 2024, Iwas 237lbs. Today I am 180.8lbs. Sadly, I went crazy after having a low of 159lbs last summer and gained back 20. I can't stand it, feel miserable again and feel like my breaking point is now 180lbs. I have 4 months before I turn 50 and my mission to become fit by fifty is as strong as ever. These dietbets have helped me stay focused so much and I have bet heavily on myself for this last hoorah! The next 6 months will include the most intense diet and exercise routine of my life! To those of you at the beginning of your journey, you CAN do it. The key is stay committed to discipline the first 6-8 weeks, no matter how hard it is. By that time you will have noticed and felt tangible results and your habits will be changed. Your cravings for bad food (mostly sugar) will be gone. Your motivation will be higher than you can have ever imagined. You will surprise yourself with what you're able to do. It's a wonderful feeling to transform your body and you will just want MORE of it! Best of luck...LFG!!
