I was 1 lb away yesterday but I religiously stuck to my cals, drank 4 litres of water throughout the day and took some senna before bed and this morning I was half a lb under my goal for weigh in. Don’t give up just yet x

I waited till this am...drank over a gallon of lemon water yesterday was up by 0.2 yesterday morning. I ate within my calorie alotment on MFP. I ended up losing 2.9 pounds overnight.

What are your favorite shelf-stable keto foods? Looking for ideas for my cubicle.

So far I have
- Oloves (little olive packs)
- single pack jerky
- some keto bars that are not tasty so recommendations are welcome!

Chomps meat sticks, tuna, nuts, homemade "granola" bars made out of keto ingredients

Whisps (baked cheese that are like crackers- I can usually find cheddar, Parmesan, and tomato basil flavors), high key cookies, pork rinds, different flavors of nuts, almond butter, sometimes i eat veggie straws (not super low carb but since they are mostly air you can easily have some and the carb count is still low), Lily’s chocolate, nature valleys chocolate and almond protein bars only have about 9 net carbs (I think), my grocery store also carries sola brand granola which is fabulous

Hey ladies, I am curious as to how you manage this game with your period. I met my goal weight but my period just hit and Holy Bloat I'm no longer at my goal. I know that all of the weight will go away when my period is over but it definitely means I won't make goal Monday. I'm just curious if there is some kind of strategy to joining games with your period in mind so that you don't miss goal for something that is completely out of your control.

A question for the ladies - do you change anything about your exercise or dieting regimen during your time of the month? My body is extremely sensitive to hormonal changes and I will usually exercise less, sleep more, and try to take lots of baths if I can remember :) But it is messing with my intermittent fasting/dieting plan when my body is craving more calories at all times of the day! Also this is terrible timing with Round 2 nearing its end...

This has been my struggle last week until today. I end up doing more yoga and stretching but the carb cravings are horrible and I failed last week... so I’m probably not a good one for advice lol . Just empathy.

Not as good as the ladies above - generally just more lenient with my calories making sure I’m having 1500 instead of the 1200-1300 I aim for normally, and those 200 calories are usually in the form of chocolate :grin:

I don't think I'm going to be able to win this diet bet... It has me totally down on myself. I have been on my moon cycle for a month, I have been so fatigued towards the middle of the day which kills my energy to workout, and I'm just stress eating! :(
It's going to take a miracle to lose the 5 lbs I need to before the end of the month.

We received our first delivery from Hello Fresh today and it was a huge disappointment! Food was in transit for 5 days and meat did not seem as cold as it should be. Zucchini for one of the recipes was wrinkled and definitely not "fresh". Some of the portion sizes seemed pretty skimpy, too. My husband looked at the meat portions and asked "is this supposed to be for BOTH of us?" LOL He is a tall, lean guy but he has a healthy appetite. I was really hoping to love this, but after this first order, I cancelled our subscription. I'm sure that I'll get some kind of extra charge for cancelling as their offer of $90 worth of free meals is spread over 4-6 different boxes. I think that is just a hook to keep people from cancelling...

I've been doing HF, every plate, and home chef. Had the most issues with EP missing ingredients and once HF had a bad tomato. They print the label 5 days before the box is made. I can assure you, the box is delivered within 48 hr. Also, the serving size is what a serving should be, but as a culture we overeat with large portions.

@ Amanda F - I am not going off the date the label was printed, but the Fed Ex tracking history of when the box was "picked up". It was enroute 5 days. Too long for me to consider any of the food safe to consume.

It is interesting to read about others' experiences with Hello Fresh and meal deliveries in general. This was a live and learn experience for us. Very disappointed in general and surprised that we have not been contacted by customer service. I sent a detailed explanation of why we were cancelling and expected something more than a "sorry to see you go" response.

  • 40 day streak of closing all my rings. I’m super proud that I’ve been able to maintain this commitment (and lose weight!) Also my wedding dress came in today, I am excited to try it on again and compare to photos from when I tried it on in October, when I was 14 lbs heavier! #sweatingforthewedding
