The gym I go to is a “bootcamp” gym. A little less insane than crossfit but has classes with trainers. I do enjoy bootcamp videos too

  • Question: How do you make sure your body is getting enough calories throughout the day?

    Any tips other than calorie trackers?? (It has never been a healthy habit for myself any time I’ve tried to use them in the past.) I’ve been trying to “listen to my body” which works unless I do something like drink coffee which makes it harder to “feel” hungry.

    Do you try to follow a schedule? Like eat something every “—“ amount of hours?? I’ve been using Huel as a leading source of nutrition cause it’s easy and I know it has all the good stuff I need in it. I’ve been trying to add fruits and veggies as snacks in between.

    What about those of you who don’t cook? What do you eat? I don’t feel comfortable cooking where I live right now so how can I eat a nutrient rich diet on the go. (I mostly eat at work)

    I have a really hard time switching up my eating habits and can get into this all or nothing mindset where I’m binge eating all the junk or trying to eat “healthfully” but not enough. How do you find balance?

    Eventually I wanna have an overall better relationship with food (I have an awesome therapist who is helping me with this but will obviously take some time) but for now how can I eat healthy and loose weight?

    Has anyone followed a meal plan that included the use of liquid nutrition? Did you create it yourself? Did you see a nutritionist or specialist? Thank you in advance for the kind feedback 😊

I use carb manager. And I write down everyone put in my mouth. I also food prep twice a week, so I have my food in the house.
I have lost 200 pounds in 3 years.

Seriously 😒 I took my scale to work so I could use the big mirror to take my initial weigh in pics but forgot to submit them. Now there’s a different weigh in word. I just wish I felt comfortable just asking people to take the pics for me. One day 💪

Anyone else worried about having a weigh in right after a holiday? I am trying to get ahead of the curve by losing a bit more weight now and being under goal, so that if I gain over Memorial weekend I won't have to work so hard to make weigh in.

Yes! Really watching those calories and trying not to go over will be hard. I’ll be more active that weekend with softball and hiking. I hope that helps me maintain :)


One time on Dietbet I did thanksgiving, Xmas and new years without overdoing it. Tough time, but I felt so accomplished for a month or more of willpower. I walked whenever I could before and after. When I took my food, I used the one plate method. Take what you will eat and don't go back for seconds. Goodluck!

What are your favorite shelf-stable keto foods? Looking for ideas for my cubicle.

So far I have
- Oloves (little olive packs)
- single pack jerky
- some keto bars that are not tasty so recommendations are welcome!
- almonds

I need some variety. I have an electric kettle and water, but the microwave is off limits due to covid.

Chomps meat sticks, tuna, nuts, homemade "granola" bars made out of keto ingredients

Whisps (baked cheese that are like crackers- I can usually find cheddar, Parmesan, and tomato basil flavors), high key cookies, pork rinds, different flavors of nuts, almond butter, sometimes i eat veggie straws (not super low carb but since they are mostly air you can easily have some and the carb count is still low), Lily’s chocolate, nature valleys chocolate and almond protein bars only have about 9 net carbs (I think), my grocery store also carries sola brand granola which is fabulous

Hey ladies, I am curious as to how you manage this game with your period. I met my goal weight but my period just hit and Holy Bloat I'm no longer at my goal. I know that all of the weight will go away when my period is over but it definitely means I won't make goal Monday. I'm just curious if there is some kind of strategy to joining games with your period in mind so that you don't miss goal for something that is completely out of your control.

BTW I often kick myself for being in games with bad TOM weigh in days. But I've never thought ahead enough to actually join/not join games based on TOM

Lots of water, and FOR ME, golden milk a couple times during my period helped to flush that bloat.
