Get a new scale! It's well worth the investment... nothing is more frustrating than finding out you have a bad scale when you *thought* you were making progress...

I like the documentary tip; I'll have to try that because I'm easily influenced by things I watch/read. As for the scale, I have found that my phone/camera is much heavier than I ever thought. If you have someone who can take the photos for you while you just stand there, it makes a world of difference.Thanks for sharing!
