  • Traveling can be challenging while trying to manage a healthy diet. I brought my scale on our roadtrip and made it work. I also had an amazing salmon and veggie meal in Vegas tonight that was entirely guilt free because it was healthy and not high calorie - it was so delicious! We hiked in Red Rock today and it was beautiful! Working hard on healthy choices and enjoying myself at the same time. ☀

Yikes! Just got on the scale and I've got a couple pounds to go, and it's the weekend. How's everyone else doing? I see the few posts from those who have made it and a couple that are in the same boat as me. What's y'all's game plan for these last few days and pounds?

I have 1.1 to go as of this morning - If all goes as planned I can meet that goal. Stay strong all - eat protein - drink water - eat your greens - we can do it!

I hate losing, but I'm losing. I have two stubborn pounds and I'm motivated more than ever. Hoping for a miracle at this point. 😩

Well this has been a rollercoaster challenge. I started out strong, ate bad over the weekend, and today was about to throw in the towel and stepped on the scale only to discover that I’m less than 3 pounds away from the goal. Don’t count me out yet! I’ve done meal prep through Saturday and plan to cook more on Sunday and workout throughout so hopefully I can get to the finish line

Going on vacation starting Friday this week, I am going to try to really limit my snacking and get some sort of exercise in every day (going to a beach). And keep the water intake going.

Anyone else have any recommendations for what they do when vacationing and trying to be good 80% of the time? (Even car ride snack ideas would be nice)

Couple ideas for snacks.
Beef jerky, quest or atkins protein chips, even some of there snacks. Fruit or dried fruit is a great idea. Protein on the go shakes.
When eating out I’d probably just choose more protein options skip out on to much bread or pastas and choose meat, salads breakfast foods omelettes etc.
best of luck. Vacations are tricky!

Try to look up the menu wherever you’re eating and plan ahead. I find I eat worse when I arrive somewhere starved

  • Workout complete! I’ve been off to a rocky start with this challenge but I’m trying to shift to taking it day by day and meal by meal. Oatmeal is next on the menu so wish me luck.

Due to some medical conditions, I’m on a low sodium diet. Anyone have any yummy low sodium recipes they love that are not just a protein and veggies with salt-free seasonings?

Check out Well Your World (online store) as they have sauces, condiments, and all sorts of no salt seasonings. I use them as I’m also on a very low salt diet.
