So after listening to The Diary of a CEO, I have decided to start taking ketones and creatine. Not his brand of ketones though which are 13 dollars a dose! I got them for 2 dollars a dose online. I’m going to take only one dose, not two a day because of the cost.

Lol, I cut mine too. Maybe that’s why I lost more than expected. It’s going to grow back though. I doubt it was a pound of hair though.

I did my weigh in on the 30th which was the first day you could. Then just made myself buckle down. Now I’m equally surprised that I’m where I am. The only other thing I’m doing other then locking my nutrition down is I joined the step bet game. I’m making myself get up during the day and walk. Since I have a desk job.

I just joined today but I'm excited for the journey. I gained back 15 lbs of 50 lb weight loss over the holidays 😑 but I am optimistic that this Diet Bet is at the very least getting me back in the right direction. I've had success with DietBet before and hope to lose weigh more than the 15 lbs. I've gained back and lose another 25 lbs on top of that this year. I'm very heavy now so this should be doable with accountability. I am a runner so my goal is to also do my 4-5x/ week 5Ks like I have been doing for the last 15 months. December was hard with the weather, illness and holidays. I'm writing this here to out it out there.

Not a huge fan of the vegan cheeses either. This was a frozen pizza, I think it was Better goods brand cauliflower crust pizza

I use frozen riced cauliflower and microwave it first because adding the other ingredients so it cooks more. The texture is a little different than plain oatmeal but not bad. The fruit covers the veggie flavor

Interesting. I make Warrior Oatmeal from Esselstyn’s Woman Warrior cookbook. It has kale in it. It’s really pretty good.

Hey all- glad to do this with you all!!!
Any intermittent/extended fasting people on here??? I know everyone has what works for them. Extended fasting was extremely helpful in the past for me for weight loss and health. Just got off track for a few years and trying to get back on plan. Anyway- if you enjoy fasting let me know and we can encourage each other when it gets tough!

I do IF in that I skip breakfast and do either a bullet proof coffee (just MCT, no butter) so there’s no or very little
Insulin response. I do the occasional 48-72 hour fast and yeah that definitely kicks things in to high gear. The extended fasts interest me with regards to
Autophagy and in case there’s any truth to the idea that you can kill off cancerous cells.

I do the fasting mimicking diet once a month too when I’m trying to lose more than 2 percent in a month. I do a diy version that is much cheaper than the Prolon diet. I think it really does cause autophogy and kills cancer cells. I had MGUS, a precursor to multiple myeloma, but after doing the fasting mimicking diet a few times, I was retested and it was gone!
