How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

TIP OF THE DAY: Aspartame and artificial sweeteners- this is a much-debated subject amongst Fitness professionals all the time and I thought it be good to show you what science actually thinks. A friend of mine (who happens to be a biochemical engineer) wrote this for MyFitnessPal a few years ago breaking down how aspartame is constructed and how it reacts in the general population. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1308408/why-aspartame-isnt-scary/p1
As to artificial sweeteners, they are the MOST STUDIED additive done by many independent organizations. Some give you pseudoscience as well as opinions but stick with the ones that give you PEER-REVIEWED EVIDENCE.
So some of the misconceptions are:

It raises insulin just like sugar- FALSE. If it actually did, then it wouldn't be suggested as an alternative drink stated by the Americans Diabetic Association or other diabetic organizations.

The body doesn't recognize the artificial sweetener, so it causes you to absorb more calories from food or drink- FALSE. All artificial sweeteners (and food and drink included) are bond chemically at the molecular level. Digestion breaks everything down to it's simplest form and what it can digest it does and what it can't it disregards and flushes it out of the body. Fiber is a good example. If people are GAINING weight while drinking diet drinks, it's because they associate the diet drink with "giving more room" for calories.

It causes cancer- FALSE. There are some studies that show high doses of artificial sweeteners cause cancer in rats. But that's not ever been replicated in humans. In one of those studies, they were feeding rats the equivalent of drinking a case or more of diet soda a day. Well it's not that hard to figure out that an overdose of ANYTHING to the body will disrupt some function.

Based on a lot of good evidence, artificial sweeteners are safe to use in moderation. If you have any questions on this, feel free to ask.

Going to go open up a Coke Zero right now! Oh, or maybe a DDP! Choices!

When I cut fake sugars like this from my regular intake, normal foods tasted better - sweeter, richer - more fulfilling. Ex tons of crystal light, felt pretty addicting.
Whatever makes people feel the best, is what I’d suggest for people.
