Warning this is not an uplifting post



I am just feeling really sad and emotional today. I feel a little sick which scares me. I’m so afraid of covid! I just want o curl up in bed with Charmed streaming and a never ending supply of melted cheese. Instead I’m working and doing all the things a grown woman does. But I’m just wanting to be a teen after on a summer vacation.

I don't think you're whining, I think you're being real - Covid is so terrifying! I agree with Megan C., giving yourself permission to acknowledge that this is hard and not normal is helpful! Do what you can and take care of yourself. Remember that activity is great for long-term mental health - even if you don't want to do it in the moment. Hugs!

Thank you everyone. Today is already ten times better. I’m getting my workouts in, even on my struggle bus days. Which is good, I can’t imagine the magnitude of meltdowns without endorphins!! I really do value each and every comment on my extra emo day (which is valid and I’m not down talking myself)!! Cheers to having more good days than bad!!
