How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Lately I've been really struggling! I seem to lose like .5 pounds every 2 weeks, so I'm pretty much maintaining. I don't feel like I should be at a plateau right now when I am really working hard to get my exercise in and my protein in, but between last week and this week, I maintained completely, but I felt like my extra efforts have not been going as planned! I have 20 more pounds to go until I get to my goal weight... Just needing encouragement.

I’ve been plateauing for about three weeks at a time, then the logjam breaks for a week or so and then I plateau at the new weight. It’s frustrating on a daily basis, but when I compare weight lost from month to month I’m on track-just barely.

Remember how far you've come!! And think of where you'll be if you continue. You are making progress it just slows down a little sometimes and then you'll drop again. YOU CAN DO IT!
