How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Anyone doing OMAD or 5:2 intermittent fasting? I personally had great success with 16:8 fasting after reading a book in 2017 called “Buddha’s diet, how to lose weight without losing your mind (great read and information on the subject) in the past but after a solid year of it, I lost weight and started going out more cuz I was feeling myself 😅 so then that schedule went out the window. I personally don’t think OMAD is sustainable but I’ve been accidentally doing it because I work at an airport and I’m a waitress (we don’t get breaks, people in the service industry will understand) Everyone has been wanting to get out and fly lately so we’ve been really busy and I just don’t have time to take a break and eat because they don’t allow us to eat in close proximity anymore we have to go out into the terminal I know that sounds weird but If you’ve ever been in the airport you see how small the restaurants are but there’s really no back or break area so you have to like go sit in the terminal somewhere and with all the people around it makes me feel uncomfortable so I’ve been waiting to eat until I get home at night (never been a breakfast person and i go into worn at around 1pm until 9-10pm) and accidentally eating once a day and I feel OK but I don’t think it is sustainable for a normal schedule or life I don’t know let’s talk about intermittent fasting thoughts? opposed? for it? Unsure? On my days off I eat pretty freely. Idk I’m rambling lol intermittent fasting is easy if you’re not being extreme about it in my opinion but it’s not for everyone. Is OMAD too extreme or is the whole thing too crazy to even try for you personally?

I have a friend who did 5:2 and lost tons of weight and then kept it off. He absolutely raved about it as it turned his life around. Personally I don’t have the determination for it and get massive food rage if I’m hungry but if it fits your life then you could give it a go and see how you feel

I've been doing OMAD for a year now. I'm rarely hungry during the day so it works for me. I will eat breakfast and lunch if I'm with friends or family. I've lost 35 pounds in a little over a year.
