How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Test results I got back today confirmed that I am peri menopausal at a youngish age, which has likely contributed to my weight gain and struggle to lose weight. No matter how strict I am with my diet or how much physical activity I’m doing, I’m barely losing. Anyone have any suggestions on weight control for peri menopause? Dr set me a with a nutritionist but appointment is in 6 weeks

I just looked at your profile. It says you have lost steadily since July and are down 17 pounds. I would say that’s actually pretty good as you are already under 200. 1 pound a week with occasional plateaus is fine. Maybe you are being too hard on yourself? Weight loss does slow when you get closer to goal.

My peri menopause started at age 43 and by age 45, no more periods. I did a lot of walking at the suggestions of my doctor and I noticed it helped me lose my belly fat.
