Holiday break did a number on me. When I go off the rails from 2B my gut is a mess then go figure when I get back on it, it is also a mess. This week was a rollercoaster with the scale. Happy to see that at the one week mark though I’m down 3.6. The journey looks so different for each of us, and weight can be stubborn each time you fall off and try to get back on. However Ilanas principles are everything! Track track track…water all day long..veggies..and there will be results. For so long I kept fixating on the daily loss not the weekly loss which in turn would contribute to my eating decisions for that day would lead me to emotional eat if the scale didn’t say what I thought. I’m learning daily what works.This week I was relentless in the pursuit of progress! We can do this yall! Keep going!!!

This was so helpful! I was getting frustrated seeing the scale go up and down slightly this week but overall I also had a loss for week one and that should out weigh the frustration. Thank you for sharing.
