How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

The doctor's verdict is that I am still too weak/injured to do *everything* I want to do but am in good enough shape to do *most* of what I want to do. We'll check again in a few weeks.

After that appointment, I did a Lift with Cee workout, adjusting some of the lower body exercises as needed. I've been wanting to try her workouts since I heard about them a few months ago from people in a peri/menopause group. I *really* enjoyed it and felt challenged.

You can do it! If swimming or aqua-size is an option for you that's usually nice and gentle while still being great exercise. Pushing down styrofoam "dumbbells" against the water is a fun novelty too.

I used to do Masters Swim (not well, but I did it); I'd really like to get into it again, but my schedule doesn't line up with it this semester.

I can look into water aerobics classes in the meantime. I know a lot of them are while I'm at work, but they can't *all* be (I hope!).
