How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I finally weighed in 0.2 away from my round 4 goal this am!!!
So I had gone on vacation last month and went a bit off the rails after. I buckled down in the last two weeks and somehow managed to hit the goal. But after restricting myself for two weeks, I went way back the other way at the beginning of this month. I felt pretty defeated, and at that point decided that I needed to be more calculated (up until that point I wasn’t following any specific calorie counting, I was just trying to make better food choices). I started a macro counting program that I’ve done in the past. I gave up the idea of meeting this months weight goal since they usually start you out in a week or 2 of maintenance/light weight loss then adjust macros from there gradually- I had to let myself be OK with the fact that I was going to miss this weight loss goal with the plan of hitting the last one. Well, the scale finally budged out of my plateau today!!! Being that the weigh-in is in three days, I don’t know if I will make it, but I am pretty happy about that small move!

This is fantastic Lauren! I follow something similar by weighing and tracking my food and staying in calorie deficit each day and honestly… it works really well. I average over 10 lbs a month. It takes discipline but, for a foodie like me I need to be able to see what macros I’m consuming to help me make better food choices- and also reduce the portion size. You’re on the right path!! You got this. Congratulations :tada:

That’s a really sensible approach- it’s easy to lose sight of the real goal and to risk starting patterns that make us less balanced. Wishing you success with the new plan!
